A relaxed phone call to learn about the person whose story is being written and who the book is for. During the call, a member of our team gets to know you and matches you with the journalist best suited to tell the story.

There is no commitment until you have met your journalist and approved them. No contract to sign and no payment until you are all in.

Each session lasts about an hour and is conducted remotely. Your interviewer guides a relaxed conversation through the memories, relationships, and wisdom you want to preserve.

Writing begins after the complete interview series is finished, and that is on purpose. By your last conversation, your journalist knows the people, places, and moments that matter most to you, and how each story connects to the next.

It is written in your voice, and when it is ready, we send it to you to read and refine before anything moves to design.

The actual placement happens after you approve your manuscript. Once the story is set, your designer knows exactly where each photo belongs, places your pictures and captions right beside the moments they capture, and creates your custom cover. Nothing goes to print until you have reviewed the finished book.
